For a couple of years now I have wanted to express ideas through the oil paint medium. I have not painted continually with oils since I was at Secondary School. Until now, have not found it to be "right". The "right" time happened upon me by personal circumstances which affected me deeply. I was working through my experience privately. Now some time as passed I feel able to share the work with others. May they may resonnate with some people?
Betond Yonda 7 is a new sreies of oil paintings which has developed from the Hidden Heart Series. I truly have found great enjoyment expressing my creativity through oils. It has introduced a new means of active creation. By this I mean, when I paint with watercolours I uaually stand while I am painting, this is a very physical expression. Iuse my whole body, as if dancing whilse painting. So, to paint with oils , I suppose is to do a slow waltz!
Beyond Yonda 7 has a gentle rhythmical quality. There is detail to interpret if there is the desire to do so, or enjoy the quality surface and composition for itself.
